Character Appearance:Gray hair, dark eyebrows, and brown eyes. Little wrinkles pop up at the corners of his big browns, when he smiles. Which isn't very often, because he's too stressed out and angry chasing his client's daughter around to have time to enjoy a good joke or appreciate a humorous situation. Pete's five eleven, with white teeth, broad shoulders, and a posture that says he knows and and has confident self-control.
It's suits when doing business, and slacks, white button-downs, suspenders, and skinny ties when he's casual. Always with polished shoes, neatly combed hair, and his gold watch. Pete Defanowitz, you dapper sonofabitch.

Character History/Personality:The army did Pete good. It made him the man that he is today, as a matter of fact. Stern, but laid back. He's no stranger to enjoying a good laugh, politically correct humor, or not. Pete's not a drinker--sober all of the time. After all, who wants to be drunk and miss out on all of the things in life that can be fun and lively without the alcohol. Added bonus, you won't do things that you regret, and you get to remember everything that happens. Besides, Pete doesn't think he needs all of that stuff in order to give him a lack of inhibition [when it's needed] or to give him a better personality than he already has, because he loves himself. Not in that snotty, egotistical way. He just loves himself enough to know that he doesn't need a crutch, or anything to weigh down his shoulders in the 'addiction' section of his life.
This doesn't mean Pete's perfect, of course. I mean. He IS sleeping with his client's wife. Even moralistic Pete goes wrong, sometimes.
Pete's stint in the military was directly followed by a stint in the police force. When they retired him, after he got shot on the job, and had medical problems due to the accident [he has some heart issues], they gave him permission to carry a weapon, due to the fact that criminals often follow Black Sticks' lives, and then try to attack them once their gun and badge are gone.
After retiring from the Force, he needed another job, because he didn't like being bored in his house, all day. So what did he do? He put an ad out in the Uppercrust, asking if anybody needed a hired bodyguard. Lo and behold, somebody answered: They needed a strong, qualified person to watch their semi-delinquent daughter and drive her to school. Pete agreed.
Some days? He wishes he wouldn't have. But the pay's good, and he gets to stay in a very nice house.
What can a guy do, right?
