Character Appearance:Jane is a very short girl, standing at around 5'6" and appears to be in her late teens rather than her early twenties. She has nothing specific within her wardrobe being that she is homeless, but she does own a set of black calf height military boots that she wears with anything. The boots are a few years old and it shows from the faded black coloring and the soles that are worn down, but she absolutely loves these boots. Usually she is seen in a bathrobe over her other clothing, which she claims is her 'robe.'
She is dirty looking but that is because she hasn't showered in some time. Her hair multiple colors, mainly dark brown but has some blond and black within it. It is long and always seen in a disheveled wind-blown state, but it has also been seen as scraggly, greasy and knotted some days.
Jane has quite a few scars, mostly upon her forearms and even some on her legs. Most are thin and superficial, but a few are deep and seem as if they needed stitches at some time. She also has words that are written upon her arms, words that she often 'reads' from or refers to in her preaching like moments.

Character History/Personality:Jane's been a little off her kilter since she was about fifteen. Could have been due to the drugs she dabbled in or her very manic emotional tides. She started out cutting herself to feel alive or feel anything other than what she was really feeling. She attended a year of community college for a degree in Liberal Arts but never finished the degree because she didn't like having a set schedule. Her parents kicked her out at nineteen thinking that by kicking her out it would motivate the girl to either sink or swim. As most parents they were certain she would swim, but Jane sank. And boy did she sink.
She lost her apartment four months into her year lease and still owes the rest of the years rent. She bounced so many cheques that she's certain she may have a warrant out for her arrest now for unpaid bills and insufficient funds. She still owes money for the school her parents refused to pay when she decided to stop attending classes and get high with her college buddies. Which weren't really her buddies once she lost her apartment and couldn't come up with some cash for a fun time. At nineteen Jane almost managed to kill herself in a wicked drug overdose that wasn't as much drug as it was a bunch of random crap tossed into the mixture. Not only did she have to get her stomach pumped and stay in the hospital for a few days, it landed her a quick trip to the slammer for fifteen months.
She was almost twenty-one when she got out of the slammer and ended right back up on the streets. No one from her past would recognize her or would want to act as if they knew the girl. With too much free time on her hands, Jane came up with the idea that the government intentionally released 'red' into the air to control the human population or make genetic mutants for their personal use. And if it wasn't them it was God and he's punishing us all.
Everyone who knows the local street dwellers have given Jane the title of "Crazy Jane." She is usually seen ranting from sun up to sundown, up and down the streets of the city going on about either the end of the world or government conspiracies. Anyone who passes her on the streets will be subjected to her rantings.
When Jane is excited or sharing the word of Jane she is extremely excitable. Bouncing around, talking not only loudly, but fast and using very exaggerated arm gestures to emphasize her points. Sometimes she pulls out tablets of paper that have scribbles on them, proclaiming them to be scrolls of wisdom. She will pull them out from her 'robe' and read off them in an attempt to inform the world (person) about the government and the end of the world.
When she is randomly lucid she seems to have qualities of someone who is/was intelligent but the moments are so far and few between. During these moments she sometimes scowls at people and is naturally cautious around them. A lot of her speech in this state are low mumbles and cynical of those or the environment around her. Sometimes she picks at her scars or scratches them when she is in this state, appearing almost self-conscious of her appearance.
